  • Love and grief

Kelly, I have listened to your podcast for years and always enjoy them immensely… But this Sunday’s “thanks for being here”-about why did Kaitlin die in February? Really resonated with me… I just happen to have a sister who also died in February -28 years ago… and a beautiful three-year-old grandson who looks at the high school picture of my sister and asks amazing questions …It is so fascinating to me-just how similar these podcasts are to our everyday lives-it absolutely “takes my breath away ... more

  • The one podcast companion for the desert island

Kelly and her Wonders will go with me if I ever have to go to that imagined desert island where we can only take a few treasured things from civilization. She is so deeply human and always curious. I am so grateful Kate Bowler introduced me to this podcast.

  • Loved the episode w/3 moms

I loved the episodes when you and your mom friends were talking about parenting some of the best episodes in years. I hope you have more like this. More relational. Less academic and I say this as an academic. I like the conversations you have with ordinary people the best. Sometimes the pod gets a little too theoretical and isn’t practical or relatable. The intellectual humility (while important) felt a little overdone. I like the stories and specific examples versus theoretical concepts. I a... more

  • Kelly Corrigan and staff

Most days you are my church, a light, some hope on the road, an alteration of my perspective and often a smile to boot. Your content on Fridays (for good of the order) and Sundays obituaries are my favorite, although I don’t miss a minute of anything you all produce.

Thank you for your all time take aways December 12th…after 700 shows. I shared it to those I love best. You have my respect and I carry off your kindness packaged up in the stories. Awesomeness and much gratitude!!

Q: What were the early reactions you got from potential publishers or agents to your cartoon text combo?

Deep Dive with Ed Helms on Creative Flow
Q: Can you think of an example of feedback that was invaluable to the way you moved forward?
Ed describes preferring feedback during the making process from trusted colleagues, and sharing a vulnerability about asking for help in refining lines, which helped him shift performances in real-time and felt like a trusted collaboration rather than post-mortem critique.
Deep Dive with Allison Jones on Creative Hiccups
Q: Can you describe how your early casting experiences shaped your approach today?
Allison describes learning by watching countless improv nights, memorizing actors, and then trusting a genuine, warm, and funny presence in the room as the core signal.

Q: What role does storytelling play in your advocacy and investment strategy?
Storytelling is the through line that makes data and policy relatable, helping to connect diverse stakeholders and accelerate consensus around big outcomes.
