I absolutely love this. I’m hooked. I love a whodunnit. Such talented writers and performers
An incredibly engrossing murder mystery.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon this podcast. It’s so much more than a murder mystery. The Hugh + Callum love story is delightful and every character, even the walk-ons, are so well drawn with fascinating stories of their own. Have just spent a very enjoyable Easter weekend listening to up to Ep 15 and can’t wait for the next one to drop. Well done Mark! This is a mini masterpiece.
Have read and listened to all of Mark Watson’s works and this is a perfect format for him (and me). It’s the only podcast I listen to the minute it drops. Thanks Mark, can’t wait for the next episode
Absolutely engrossing. You are quickly submerged into a world that initially seems odd, and yet regularly allows you to take a breath with more realistically mundane aspects of life. Thoroughly addictive. Can't believe I'm so hooked!

The format leans into stylish dialogue, evolving loyalties, and a chorus of insiders—producers, actors, journalists, and investigators—pulling the story through shifting allegiances and morally grey choices. Noteworthy is the show's playful yet darker tonal balance, the serialized mystery structure, and the way audience invol... more
