  • The sugar that helps the bitter reality go down easier.

The bugle is a news satire podcast. The global reach, deep intelligence, and deep absurdity have all done good work to make positive change in my own life makes much more than comedy satire. The wide diversity of voices from around the globe are just as remarkable as the host.

Then wait a few years and listen to them again. That good. Worth the effort to listen to.

  • A listener for years but it’s getting harder

I was listening to this weeks show and the topic of Olympic censorship was brought up. The first example of the Ukrainian athlete being censored I assumed would lead into a comparison with the ex IDF soldier who has mocked a “free Palestine” online and very vocally supported what a vast majority of the world has recognized as a genocide. This wasn’t even mentioned. I am more surprised that Nato Green didn’t even bring it up.

  • Come on Chris!!!

Chris, there are great studio tools called Compressors. You can use them to control the loud and quiet parts of an audio file, particularly to bring up the quiet parts. How many years have you been working with Andy? Surely you know that he often finishes an anecdote in a trailing-off mumble. So not only do I always have to crank up a Bugle podcast to 45 in the car (all others are fine around 32) in order to hear it normally, but I always have to rewind in order to catch what he mumbled at the e... more
