A low budget melt movie from the early nineties out of Australia. While the effects are practical, the story is all over the place. Good melt, bad film structure.
A direct sequel to the original film moves a bit slower than the original. You do get to see the IT babies a bit more though. Overall, we liked more than we thought we would.
Directed by Seagal, it was a passion project of his. Except not only is this film bad, it's one of the worst films from the 90's and one of Segal's worst theatricals as well.
Joey hasn't watched any of the Paranormal Activity films except when challenged. While we both agree that the film wasn't great, there was some OK found footage moments. Otherwise, quite boring.

I only started listening about a month ago and I've already burned through more than 100 episodes. I love listening to these guys talk about movies. I don't always agree with their opinions but they're very intelligent people and they know what they're talking about.

This podcast is at its most entertaining when Scott and Joey go off on wild tangents spurred by something that's stuck in their craws about the terrible movie they're reviewing. Scott, in particular, is usually good for at least one outraged rant per episode. Their genuine respect and affection for one another is obvious and makes this show a pleasure to watch.
