  • Kind of lame

Just listened to the Adventures in Babysitting episode, in this podcast you can definitely tell when there became social currency in saying how offensive and offended you are by a movie. Weird how you never said anything like that prior to being told by your cult, how to think and how much injustice there is in these movies. You should try an experiment, go down to the closest inner city bus station at around 2am and tell everyone how we’re all the same and “be nice to them” and see how many tim... more

  • Enjoyable and Satisfying

Krissy and Nathan make a great team. They easily blend comedy and filmmaking insights. I especially enjoy their down to earth style. I used to listen to other movie podcasts, but just grew tired of strong opinions and hot takes that left no room for discussion. Krissy and Nathan’s discussions are measured and considerate. They have a friendly, comfortable professionalism between them. Listening to them is like hanging out with a couple of good friends who are funny, intelligent, and also just go... more

In addition, it feels like they “watch” the movie while starting at their phones; there’s a lot of “I missed that part” thrown about.

There are much much better 80s movies review podcasts out there; I’d recommend seeking them o... more
