  • If the Catholic Church leaders were so progressive, why were people who "scientifically" proved that the earth revolved around the sun condemned and threatened with excommunication if they dared to publicly assert that the geocentric model of our solar system was verifiable false! Please refrain from revising history to ameliorate or exonerate the false doctrine of a geocentric universe. Remember the fiery fate of Giordano Bruno when he dared speculate the existence of other planets.
