When we're facing disappointment or challenge, it's easy to default to negative narratives about who we are inherently: I'm a failure. What's wrong with me? I never do anything right.
This week, teacher Rich Fernandez invites a different perspecti... more
By definition, to feel vulnerable is to feel exposed and undefended. It's natural, in moments of emotional risk or tenderness, to feel the urge to pull back from vulnerability, to deny it or dismiss it as weak or needy. But decades of research have a... more

Genuinely the worst meditation i’ve ever done. Absolutely no relaxation principles and the long pauses without any sound or real prompt made me wonder several times if i had accidentally paused it, thus taking me out of the space. Not only that, but the majority of the meditation focuses on the stress itself and reliving the negative emotion yet gives no real guide to how to release those feelings meaningfully, instead he suggests to ‘replace bad feelings with kindness and acceptance’ as someone... more
The best thing I ever did for myself is start meditating. These 12 minute meditations are just perfect 🙏🏽💜
Superb ! Excellent mind strengthening! Just the right amount of time because I get overwhelmed with lengthy informative, educational podcast and this is just right
I find that there is way too much talking *about* meditation and not enough *doing* it in this podcast. I find that after the barrage of words, I still need to go meditate! The content is great, after the 3-4 minute intro that is repeated each episode, but it’s not spacious enough for me.
The intro of this is absolutely ridiculously long and then this doctor comes on, and I don’t think he’s doing a meditation. What a waste of six minutes of my life that I will never get back.
