Too much time spent off topic, not about Brewers or even baseball
Best Brewers podcast out there
I enjoy the Microbrew podcast for the most part. But sometimes JR’s skepticism and somewhat overall negative outlook on the Brewers becomes tiring. This team is historically good. The playoffs will always be a crapshoot. It would be nice if JR could be a little less alarmist in his takes. Curt does a fine job and has a nice casual style. But he is not as clever and funny as he thinks he is. Could do with about half of his pop culture references and what he believes are witty asides.
Terrific pod. I enjoy this even when the Crew have a bad week. Keep up the great work
JR and his guest, either Curt or Todd, are excellent every week. They cover the team and you can tell they really know ball. All of them know the current team inside and out, but also can sprinkle in plenty of obscure references that definitely get your brain spinning.
I look forward to my Monday morning commute because I get to listen to MicroBrew.
