Chuck has slightly more good takes than bad ones. However, I unsubscribed and stopped listening daily due to his annoying and repetitive introduction. Listeners really don’t care if he’s a “long-time Wisconsin sportscaster in [his] second as host of Locked On Brewers.” It might be a good thing to do semi-weekly to give new listeners an idea of his bona fides, but when he feels the need to remind us of his credentials EVERY DAY and then proceed to give a lukewarm opinion it turns into a bad take ... more
Great podcast. Chuck is very informative and knowledgeable. I always liked his writing, and his voice is even better.
I miss the old show. Sick of hearing him complain about us being a small market team and wanting us to go after guys we have no shot at. Long time listener but just unsubscribed. Not a fan.
Chuck is hard to listen to. Finds negative in every situation. Spends too much time patting himself on the back. He acts like he knows everything and pretends that he predicted every move weeks prior. If you don’t know he’s covered the brewers for 40 years
Why is this guy the host of this show? No real information, just never ending complaining. I get that he is disappointed, we all are, but it is possible to have a constructive presentation about the state of things. Unsubscribing from this Negative Nancy.
