I’m sorry is this a brewers podcast or a cubs podcast? Ridiculous

  • Good podcast, but…

Enjoy your takes but having an extremely hard time taking them seriously when you consistently mispronounce the players names. Fray-lick (Frelick), Alta-vey (Altuve), and

Ura-by (Uribe) to name a few. I’m beginning to think it’s deliberate as you all know the game so well.

  • Best Brewers Pod

Shout out to the best Brewers podcast out there. Awesome and amusing insight (almost) every week. As for this year, I hope you’re correct in your optimism for a late deal to fortify the infield. MLB Trade Rumors seemed to feel that the Brewers had nothing left to spend in free agency.

“Nothing left” felt like strong words to me, as that would seem to imply they’d spent something already.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 400 | Just Don't Give Him the Toy
Q: We've reached the end of the season. It may end up being the best regular season performance in Brewer's franchise history. What was your favorite part?
My favorite part was the comeback from down 8 to 1 against the Reds to keep the win streak alive.
Episode 397 | A Little Turangy
Q: Jordan Leighton is asking, is this a normal amount of winning and losing from a good team over the last couple of weeks, right?
Yes, these are the kind of weird ups and downs that even good teams will have.
Episode 390 | The Hot Corner
Q: Can this team weather a prolonged absence in right field?
Hamstrings take a long time to heal. The Brewers have good depth in the outfield to cover for Freelick's potential absence.
Episode 390 | The Hot Corner
Q: What do you think kind of spurred this? And just how excited are you about the team now?
The main thing is that they actually fixed things that were broken. The pitching lab can fix all problems.
Episode 391 | Go Back To Your Shanties
Q: What should the Cubs be worried about in their game against the Brewers?
They should be worried because the Brewers have improved significantly since their last games together, especially with their recent performance.
