  • Decent Packers Podcast

Decent Packers podcast. JR is solid. Matt is next to useless and provides little to no useful commentary on the actual team. If you can handle the grating smugness of Paul, he is a good analyst. Last few months they have definitely made sure that listeners know their political views and perspectives. Why on Earth this is pertinent to a Packers podcast is unclear to me, but they clearly see it as something that is useful for their audience to know.

  • Matt

Please, for the love of God stop Matt’s rambling. Especially about Madden. It’s awful. Or about concerts he goes to. Or long rambling stories about not football topics. Honestly he doesn’t help increase the value of the show. You lost a star because of it. Otherwise it’s gold. Love the show.

Reporting as Eligible - Literary References and Also Balls
Q: How is the team looking to address the struggles in the running game?
The offensive line's performance is being scrutinized, given the lack of push in run-blocking, while the overall depth at running back needs to be leveraged better.
Reporting as Eligible - Literary References and Also Balls
Q: What are your random thoughts on extending Watson?
It's a thought that could create some concern with Dobbs at receiver, though his consistent presence seems to have been underrated by the team.
Reporting as Eligible - Ministers, Deacons, and Parsons
Q: Will the presence of Parsons in second year Cooper make Walker a force in his own right?
Absolutely. Quay is at his best when he can just go all out and not have to think too much. Everyone helps him do better.

Q: How do you all feel about the ruling on Tesla's touchdown?
My instinct was that's a catch, but the process for ruling it was a bit strange.

Q: So Jordan Love is good, right?
He's good, and his performance has drawn comparisons to Joe Flacco during his notable playoff run.
