We’ve all heard the phrase ‘that kind of thing doesn’t happen in our town’, but here on Midwest Murder, we will shatter that false reality. In fact, it happens more often than we know, and sometimes the details of the most horrific crimes that happen in our neighborhoods are lost in the back pages of newspapers, forgotten on our news channels, and eventually erased over time.

“True” True Crime, well researched and the delivery is very refreshing, concise but not over produced. Genuine hosts and with a dash of sarcasm. One of my faves.
I was told about you all by my niece and being a native ND gal I jumped on. I travel with my Airstream and it is one of my go to shows. I have to say I have lived in New Hampshire now since 1987. Had to move due to the economy then. It takes a minute to get how fast you talk. But I settle in. Keep giving us good content. By the way huge Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins fan. This is for Dawn. lol. Love the show. PS I listened to 4 shows stuck in Chicago traffic. 4.5 hours. Nothing like Murder
I first heard of this podcast from watching their live show at a fundraiser that Dawn and Jonah had at the zoo, which I enjoyed. Now, I’m thoroughly hooked, as are several friends and family members.
Midwest murder has never been muttered out of my mouth until a sweet, amazing co worker of mine (Kathy) mentioned to check it out since I was mentioning a few cases. It’s been a couple of weeks and now I’m just hooked! I appreciate the chemistry between both hosts and the way each episode is presented with fact finding and interesting details in the show. Amazing work. When I was a teenager (many years ago 😆lol ) I liked to do research in haunted/abandoned buildings in ND in my area for the his... more
As a long time true crime follower it has gotten to the point where I’ve heard the same stories across multiple platforms which gets boring. I am so glad I gave your show a chance! I love the unique mostly unheard of cases. I ended up binging yesterday and got a sense of the hosts great on-air chemistry, humor and humility. Keep up the amazing content!
