    Stalin said something about quantity had a quality of its own. Remember they’re the Low Part of High/Low Mix - to free up the Burkes from non-carrier BG missions. The Perry-class FFG was the “VW bug of warships” - they could do everything, they just could do anything very well. Make them for a medium/low threat environment - mission of the Perry-class FFG was to escort/defend a convoy to Europe/Asia.
