awesome pod! also listen to pokémon rollout
A great show discussing all kinds of literature!
I really enjoyed this podcast. It’s my favourite “book club” type podcast because they go into detail and talk about the symbolism.
The book is a great take down on contemporary culture while raising timeless issues. These two spend far too much time with very fast-talking and pointless digressions and tangents that don't do justice to the book. Trying hard to be witty is unseemly.
This duo is hilarious. They read a book and discuss it, while drinking Scotch, but they won't talk about the Scotch. Instead, they bring powerful insights about literature, all while picking at one another in a friendly and humorous way. Well worth a casual listen, or reading along and joining the club!
