I am so grateful I came upon this podcast. Not only does it clarify the foundation of being an obedient Catholic, but its philosophical breakdown of history and civilization has helped me understand the conflicts between liberal and conservative movements. I had no idea how fundamental Catholicism is to the history of modern times.
I’ve been a listener of True Restoration from its beginning and although a pre-Vatican II cradle Catholic, the history of the Church, of the French Revolution, the stories of saints, the details on devotions were all things I was never taught. Also, the more recent histories of the post-Vatican II priests and their journeys makes one appreciate what sacrifice it has taken for us to have access to true priests.
