long time listner/watcher.
everyday i listen to a TWiT netcast.
Most informative as well as clear easy listening
Leo is a very intolerant man and he brings the discussion down
You will be missed great show
Such an informative show and full of knowledge. I'm a little sad it's turning to all aviation, my favorite shows where on color science and photography. Still worth 5 stars.
This is a great podcast. Ray Maxwell tells a great story and teaches you stuff at the same time. He's done everything and has an anecdote for every situation.
this is a good podcast if you are interested in aviation topics
i don't care if he is from canada or upper volta. the content is what is import not ones nationality. and to think that just because he is canadian makes his opinion any more less, only reflects badly on the writer of the review.
So listen and make up your own mind. and remember it could be a neighbour talking or someone from across the world. that is what makes the internet a beautiful thing.
there are a lot of smart (and stupid) people outside the US as well as those inside the US.
but one ... more
Ray Maxwell is a fascinating chap and this podcast is to the same standard as all of the rest of Leo Laport's empire expect when it is co-hosted by "Dr Kiki". I'm sure that she is a bright lady (the "Dr" may even imply she has a PHd) but all we get from her is moronic sycophantic comments that not only add nothing to the chat of Ray but actually slow him down. She just makes herself sound like a dunb airhead which I'm sure she isn't really. So either keep quiet and let Ray do the talking or say ... more
One of the episodes is titled "Ray's Ramblings.' How appropriate. Perhaps Ray is too much of a polymath, but I found his shows to be mostly unanchored random min-speaches about various things that caught his attention during the past week. I think you'll find the titles are often misleading as he often doesn't stick to one topic.
This podcast degrades the TWiT network. Leo should focus on quality, not quantity.
Always interesting, Ray Maxwell talks on a variety of subjects, and gives an easily understood, but authoritive, inight. Recommended.
This podcast is a paced and deliberate/informative show in a world of quick-fix information. I have been working with digital image manipulation tools for over 20 years, and I still hear something useful about digital color and calibration nearly every episode. Thank you for your time Mr. Maxwell! For the record, I find the show to be apolitical.
Just another political rant show, I guess they have it all figured out in Canada
Covers a great range of interesting topics, a must listen for geeks!
