I really enjoy this podcast and the ideas presented. However, please return to the audio only format. The video format doesn't seem to add much to the content, takes up a lot of space, and makes it more difficult to listen to while multitasking. Thank you.
One of my favorite faith podcasts. I loved the interviews with brief theological introductions to Book of Mormon authors. Love the Abide series related to come follow me curriculum.
I hope you do more episodes with Christian Heal and others for NT 2023!
Addendum: love the SHORT episodes about OT!!!
The audio volume of the presenter was very soft and makes hearing the content difficult.
This podcast is fantastic. Thought-provoking and inspiring!

verse 15 to discuss “embodiment” and racial embodiment. Racial essentialism is a cancer and it is a shame that the Maxwell Institute has allowed it to metastasize.

Scholarly conversations centered on scripture, religious history, ethics, and faith practice, with frequent deep dives into Old and New Testament texts, the Book of Mormon, and restoration-era perspectives. Episodes pair rigorous exegesis with reflections on leadership, covenant, and how ancient narratives inform contemporary belief and conduct. A notable pattern is balancing rigorous academic framing with accessible, faith-forward discussion, often featuring BYU Maxwell Institute researchers, educators, and guest scholars. The show is valued for thoughtful framing, interdisciplinary angles, and episodes that connect scholarly inquiry to everyday faith. A recurring strength is the ability to contextualize complex texts within LDS thought wh... more
