    I love that you cover this in depth but you really missed the boat in expressing opinions that Ezra and Nehemiah ought to have welcome the Samaritan offer to help build the temple.

    This is what we do now with many established wards and temples.

    Back then they were a small group trying to reestablished a place of holiness. They needed to be pure and law abiding. How do you feel about just inviting anyone into our temples today?
