Having listened to this for some time now, I have to say I find this really entertaining. The two brothers provide insights into these old Marvel comics from a modern perspective, but never with a modern bias. Having followed along with the Marvel Unlimited app I can confidently say that these give me that feeling of nostalgia from reading the Marvel UK reprints in the 70s , whilst at the same time providing a position from which to appreciate them all over again as a cynical 50 something.

This show is a love letter to those of us who grew up with 60’s Marvel comics and a delightful history for anyone interested in the beginnings of modern-day Marvel Comics and the MCU. ‘Nuff said!
I happened across this podcast about a year and a half ago and started listening from the first episode on. Now that Matt and Steve are up to 1967, when I first started buying Marvel (and DC, but Marvel was my favorite) comics, the podcast is a wonderful nostalgic haven. I get a kick out of their nerdy earnestness and humor, with possibly a soupçon of occasional brotherly rivalry 😄
