I stumbled across this podcast when I was in need of comic book discussion without all the ranting that has become so commonplace in the fandom these days. Bryan, Robb and Jamie are the perfect blend of informed yet casual and humorous. I was amazed that even though they aren’t part of any podcasting network, they were able to score some of the biggest names in comics: Tom Brevoort, Brian Michael Bendis, Matt Fraction, Mark Russell, Chelsea Cain, David F. MBTM offers commentary on past absurdities, historical perspective, laughs, a fantastic array of guests, and welcome recommendations for the cream of the crop of more current comics and pop culture. As someone whose closest friend with a love of comics passed a few years ago, this podcast gives me a taste of bei... more

I powered through 1973-75 2-3 episodes a week. Now that I’ve caught up to the current episodes, one episode a week seems a leisurely pace. Love the off-week content... more
