I love their recommendations, reviews and guests.
Enjoy the premise of the podcast; provides a great “best of” for a medium that can be intimidating for a beginner to approach. Also really enjoy the recent reprise of the Dark Knight Returns episode, and would welcome more of these types of episodes in the future.
This podcast analyses/criticizes comic book stories of the past and present. I don't always agree with them but it is always informed and interesting and it made me discover great comics.
Kevin and Curt's podcast is full of great banter and witty and often very funny observation of classic comic book stories. A very fun listen.
If I do say so myself!

Two hosts—Curt Holman and Kevin Moreau—deep-dive into seminal comics and graphic novels, weighing historical significance, artistry, and cultural impact to decide what belongs in their growing canonical pantheon. Episodes consistently pair thorough issue-by-issue discussion with broader context, honoring legacy works while inviting new readers through accessible summaries and thoughtful recommendations. A notable strength is their ability to balance nostalgia with critical rigor, often challenging traditional prestige narratives and highlighting underexplored corners of the medium. This mix makes it a strong fit for listeners who want serious, opinionated bibliographic debates wrapped in engaging banter.
