This podcast is for sure 'making me watch' films I've never heard of and revisit some that I now view under a changed lens after listening - which is such an adventure. But it also has turned my attention to some of the intention and technical decision making behind the emotions films provoke in general. It’s for all film lovers and also people who just enjoy fun people talking about fun things.
Love listening to this Pod. It's fun, it's educational, and I think this would be a good listen for film classes. Keep on with it guys!
Seriously, in a world filled with dudes talking about movies, these two are worth listening too.
I just want to say how much I enjoy their chemistry and candor. Each episode delivered some laughs while also being really concise and informative. You can tell these guys aren’t just your run of the mill film nerds - they really know their stuff too. You can tell they love the art of filmmaking. I used to work in the industry, and there’s moments of this pod where I literally hear the snap of the carabiner as I attach yet another roll of gaffer’s tape to my tool belt. Keep it up guys!
Great Pod, you guys know movies. Learn a lot by listening
