I happened to find this podcast while in the beginning stages of the K1 visa journey, and it really helped me through the lonely and frustrating process. I went from feeling like this was a crazy experience that no one around me could truly understand to hearing so many stories with which I could relate! These stories are all so inspiring and some are filled with huge heartbreak. They both filled me with hope and also make me grateful for my own journey, as it is turning out to be relatively smo... more
I have enjoyed listening to this podcast. Kelli has clearly made an effort to amplify many different voices. Her story starts it off, but from there she does a wonderful job collaborating with other people living the immigration experience. It seems like a real community is forming thanks to her hard work, talent and openness.
This is easily the best podcast I've ever listened to that highlights how immigrating law impacts families. The stories are incredible.
A white, American woman’s ability to center herself and make herself the victim of US immigration is not surprising, but very disconcerting. The entitlement, privilege and repeated white tears is too much.
This podcast is awesome. I highly recommend you listen to it. I just went through the K1 process and I wish I had known about this podcast prior. Also, Kelli and Thiago’s story legit made me have tears. I can completely relate. It’s amazing how strong you can be for love. ❤️ Congrats to you both.
