The slow march toward corruption continues⊠When Brazilian businessman João Havelange took control of FIFA in 1974 it was still a modest operation, with six permanent staff and virtually nothing in the bank. By the time he retired in 1998, the soccer... more

Iâve been a football fan since I loved in England during the 80s. Over the last decade or so Iâve heard snippets about how FIFA was corrupt. This podcast series brought it all together and I thoroughly loved how everything was brought together and the presentation. Due to this podcast series, I refused to watch a single World Cup 2022 match and never will support a FIFA-sponsored match until significant changes are made with FIFA. For your next series, how about investigating and reporting on ho... more

Great job for making the stories interesting and easy to understand đđđđđ
Labor Day was last Monday and we havenât had an episode for 2 weeks. Arenât these episodes produced in advance? Total ball drop there, Conor.
Well done Conor. This has been very enlightening and revealing!!
Excellent!!!
Easy to listen to and a fascinating story told so well by the pure voice of Conor Powell.
The anti whiteness detracts from the subject matter, as do the adverts repeated three times which last almost as long as the content.
Iâm amazed you waited until Episode 5 for âWhite Man Badâ. Pathetic and completely predictable.
Superbly researched, structured and presented. Packed full of fascinating information. Well done to the team behind this excellent Podcast! đđŒđđŒđđŒ
Enjoying this - have long wanted to know the full story. Hope the hotel billed them for taking the sheets!
A compelling story of corruption and you donât have to be a football fanatic to understand. Engaging, well composed and I canât wait to hear more!
A superb investigative podcast on corruption in the âbeautifulâ game going to the highest (and lowest) levels. Well worth a listen for both fans of the game and for those that arenât. You will be shocked and amazed. Well crafted and structured, looking forward to future episodes and podcasts from this team.
For those of us who love the beautiful game, this podcast is going to blow your mind. We always knew FIFA was corrupt but itâs far worse than we ever knew. If you love football, this is a MUST listen.
