I never, ever write reviews for podcasts, but this one deserves praise. I found these individuals from their (excellent) Xenosaga coverage, which gives my favorite JRPG trilogy more than its due. Their FFXIII season just wrapped, too - they have a great track record for covering games I defend to my skeptical friends.
I used to disbelieve the concept of experiencing games vicariously, but Lightning Strikes Thrice has turned me into a believer. I dislike JRPGs, but the cast of LST do such a fantastic job of communicating their experience that I become invested in the game they're covering regardless.
Studios but fun, funny but honest, and honorable but good, LST is a fantastic way to experience JRPGs even if you dislike the genre.

I’m glad that someone is talking about Xenosaga. An otherwise interesting podcast.
Really detailed and fun to listen to. Great for playing the covered games vicariously.
