  • My preferred gaming podcast

I never, ever write reviews for podcasts, but this one deserves praise. I found these individuals from their (excellent) Xenosaga coverage, which gives my favorite JRPG trilogy more than its due. Their FFXIII season just wrapped, too - they have a great track record for covering games I defend to my skeptical friends.

  • I used to disbelieve the concept of experiencing games vicariously, but Lightning Strikes Thrice has turned me into a believer. I dislike JRPGs, but the cast of LST do such a fantastic job of communicating their experience that I become invested in the game they're covering regardless.

Studios but fun, funny but honest, and honorable but good, LST is a fantastic way to experience JRPGs even if you dislike the genre.
