It’s fine. But honestly they spend a lot of time telling you what they are going to talk about instead of just talking about it. And the one host just talks all over the other one. It needs a lot of work.
But home schooling shows. Ignorant rundown on 70s politics and Shiny Happy People is a B52s song?? Lol.
I am really interested and fascinated to hear these stories of their experiences. However one host sounds great with good audio quality whereas the other one is very hard to hear and sounds like she is in a barrel. Try to invest in some better microphone equipment to improve your quality and listener’s experience. It’s hard to follow and I typically give up on listening to episodes due to the audio quality.
As a former member of “the village” I quite enjoy this podcast. It gives me more context Into how others experienced the cult and begins up memories that are a confusing mix of happy/sad/weird/traumatic
I found this podcast thanks to Katie Joy and I've been binging all of the episodes. Jessica and Kathleen are so inspiring and I commend them for their vulnerability and strength while telling their stories.
