  • Church hurt

I’m listening to the “our story of church hurt and abuse” episode, and it’s wild to hear Landon and Heather share so many stories of their early days that sound exactly like the testimonies of people who have left Mercy Culture this past year. The Bible says out of our own mouths come both blessing and cursing - a strong example of this is them saying they want to honor their mother and father but also “gave them time to repent” and now it’s time to tell the world everything their parents did wr... more

  • Weirdo Cult

This unhinged podcast spews so much hateful rhetoric that is antithetical to Christian teachings. With their gross and misinterpretations of the scripture, seems like their main goal is just to recruit you into a weirdo cult.

Learning From Mistakes | Spiritual Leadership with Landon Schott
Q: How can I tell if someone is wise counsel in my life?
Assess their spiritual fruit and whether you admire their leadership; ensure they are willing to speak honestly, even if it's challenging, and look at their personal life (marriage, children, staff) as indicators of true wisdom.
Learning From Mistakes | Spiritual Leadership with Landon Schott
Q: What do I do if I know I miss God?
Repent sincerely, let the Lord know you're sorry, and immediately involve your leaders and trusted people in accountability so you don't miss Him again; own the failure and invite checks and balances for future decisions.
Stop Missing Church | Spiritual Leadership with Landon Schott
Q: I don't feel like I'm spiritually growing at my church, what should I do?
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal whether the issue is within you or the church, and consider finding a mentoring church that will actively help you grow in the Spirit.
Can You Be a Gay Christian? |
Q: Can you be a gay Christian?
Absolutely not. There is no category of a gay Christian in the Bible; those who follow Jesus renounce sin and pursue a life aligned with biblical sexuality.
Hear and Obey | Spiritual Leadership with Landon Schott
Q: Is it too late for me to obey God if I haven't yet?
It's never too late to obey; repent for delaying, decide to obey, and pursue alignment with God's heart even if timing has passed or changed; heart posture matters more than past missteps.
