I was raised a Christian, grew up going to church and I always knew that God loved me and that He always had His hand on my family… but the relationship with God, I was always unsure of whether or not I had that … as I grew older, I constantly battled with feeling as though I wasn’t good enough to be in church and scared that I’d corrupt anyone if I was truly myself. I'm truly grateful for this podcast. John's teaching was new to me, but I've become an avid listener and have since purchased his book, You Are Called. The unapologetic, serious approach to biblical teaching is deeply appreciated, as is the willingness to discuss cultural topics that so many churches shy away from.
Like Paul in the first chapter of Galatians, I marvel that someone can be so far removed from God‘s word and yet not know it. I wouldn’t suggest listening to this unless you are really spiritual and capable of discerning just how wrong it is.
Honestly I have been messed up for so long I didn’t know how to get out of it. So started listening to podcasts and messenger X. I believe God is using you and Lisa and the team to help me get back on the right path, and a longing to want to get closer to the Holy Spirit. To hear listen and obey. Eternally grateful.
I’ve been fortunate to have this podcast, and I genuinely appreciate the fact that they present the raw truth of the word of God. However, I wish it were available daily. May God bless John and the entire family as they continue to serve the Lord with dedication and hard work. Thank you for answering the call that was placed upon you.
