I love these guys - their passion for history, fact-checking, and their love for LA/CA. Anyone who doesn’t find them funny needs to check in to the hospital (no insurance needed) for Joy deficiency. YOU GUYS ROCK!
There is something undeniably relatable about these guys if you were born and live in LA. If you aren’t from LA, listen to these guys to get a local’s perspective on it! It’s very niche and entertaining (and this is coming from someone who isn’t even a Star Wars fan).
I appreciate the historical content and the effort that goes into each show. It’s hard listening through the jokes, side conversations, bits and virtue nodding just to hear what the title promises. These guys clearly want to be better known comedians and saw this podcast as a way to kill two birds with one stone. Talk about LA and be better known in LA. Whether you are interested in things to do in Los Angeles, food, sports, architecture, history, true crime, you name it — this podcast has something for everyone. They are way more in depth with their research as compared to many other history podcasts I have listened to. Give them a try, you are sure to learn something new.
I love the topics these gents cover but sometimes they talk too fast getting through the researched content. I also find Daniel to at times be particularly annoying and he tends to talk over Greg. Greg seems to be a really sweet guy.
