This month we're giving thanks and taking names. For the time of Thanksgiving and returning to hometowns, we are delving into the histories of our hometown neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Greg with his precious Elysian Heights (15:39) and Daniel with h... more

I’ve been listening to these guys since COVID and love them, their mixture of humor, knowledge and love for their city is amazing. I especially love how rigorous they are about finding credible sources for their information.
I've been listening to these guys for years now, they're a mainstay of my podcast lineup and I relisten to episodes in between releases. The tone is light and conversational while still being informative and insightful. The jokes and prolonged bits give the show a charm that keeps me coming back and each episode stirs my curiosity in the city around me. They're also reliable, I know every first of the month I can look forward to a new episode to enjoy.

Can’t fault them for strategy, but when you try to do both you end up doing neither very well. And that’s certainly true here. Does feel like th... more
