I love that Joseph and Nicole aren’t afraid to broach the tough subjects and shine light into the darkness. I truly appreciate that they are centering voices of marginalized and affected people in these conversations. Best part is when they honor and believe someone else’s experience and story. It is so validating and affirming. They’re teaching and inspiring me to love bigger and better… more like Jesus. This was my #1 most listened to podcast in 2021.
I can remember the first time I listened to Nicole and Josephs podcast- it had been a long time since I had felt so validated, seen, related to, understood. Thankful for the work they are doing to live lives and produce episodes that consistently explore other perspectives and center marginalized voices that have been historically silenced or ignored. Like other recent Christian deconstructionists, the musings of these pundits are predictably under-baked, elitist, manipulative, vengeful, radical-for-the-sake-of-being-radical, and ironically, just as abusive, manipulative, predatory, and non-inclusive as the fundamentalism they’re abandoning.
