  • Awesome

So thankful to have clear, relevant, biblical teaching, without showmanship... love the way these pastors are dedicated to preaching God’s word, not elevating themselves. Thank you Matt and Westside.

  • Thank you

Thank you Matt and Norm and all the Westside leadership for seeking God and sharing his word with such thoughtfulness and humility. And thank you for not mincing words or shying away from uncomfortable truths. I miss Westside deeply, but am soo grateful for these podcasts- been sharing them all over Australia and Asia and they have blessed not just me but so many of my friends!

  • Grateful for this Podcast

Norm is clearly one of my favourite teachers in Canada. I would encourage anyone to listen and gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and its application in 2018 under Norm and his team of pastors at Westside.

Q&R - Why is healthy dating so important in the church?
Q: How do we date within the church when it could mean awkwardness, hurt, or isolation from the community?
Healthy dating should not cause one person to leave the church; if done right, it can be beautiful and fulfilling, fostering community instead of division.
Q&R - Sexual integrity: why do we make such a big deal about sex in the church? Part two.
Q: If an unmarried Christian friend at Centre Church gets pregnant, what should my response be?
You should love and support them, celebrating the gift of life while also acknowledging the issues at hand.
Q&R - Sexual integrity: why do we make such a big deal about sex in the church? Part two.
Q: What counts as sex?
Pastor Matt emphasizes that the intent of the heart is key, and that any sexual activity outside of marriage constitutes sexual immorality.
Sermon - The God with Power over Death - Daniel 3:9-30
Q: What do you feel in the room when we're together and we're worshiping?
It's the spiritual presence of God and freedom experienced in worship.
Q&R - Our interest in the spirit realm, new age practices & yoga, and why our sexual sin gives so much access to the enemy in our lives.
Q: How has sexual sin become an open door?
Sex is covenantal and creates a spiritual connection that can lead to bondage and access points for spiritual harm.
