So grateful for this scripture based wisdom. In a world where God’s word is twisted to the benefit the whims of fallen humanity, the sound biblical principles shared by Pastor John are necessary, loving, and true.

God has blessed this man with the spiritual gift of teaching. My eyes have been opened through his teachings, insight, wisdom and guidance. All glory to God who has deeply blessed us through this man’s work.
John Piper answers questions in a very pastoral way while also being thorough and biblical. He does not shy away from difficult questions and explains the reasons for his answers well.
I love this podcast almost as much as the short devotional podcasts. I am reading Brother Lawrence right now. It seems like he lived in a state of Christian hedonism. The Practice of the Presence of God would be a great quick read for more inspiration, if you’ve never read a copy. I’d love to hear the opinions of John regarding this little volume and would find it hard to believe it hasn’t been referenced by Pastor John at some point.
