  • Keys Boyd is perfect, she

… is intelligent not a shock seeker! Her voice projects so well. The people she interviews are happy with her questions. I just cozy in someplace, listen, and learn.

  • Always one sided conversation

I listened 100s of Episodes. Kris is extremely talented on formulating her questions and dissecting a topic and make her guests explain their books or their knowledge to the point where the whole episode could be considered as intelligent book summary. BUT she is always one sided especially anything Palestine anything Gaza anything white vs black anything LGBT anything Democrats over Republicans. She favors blacks over whites, Israelis over Palestinians, sis-man (in her terminology) over queer m... more

  • Painful to listen to sometimes

The chosen topics are extremely interesting, but the interviews themselves can be a bit painful, often with very little chemistry. The latest episode as of this writing “why young adults can’t stop spending” was especially painstaking to hear and I was unable to listen all the way through.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why we need laws to be specific
Q: If the president talks about illegal DEI, why not pass actual laws that specifically outline what kind of actions and behaviors are not allowed?
Executive orders allowed for quicker action, which expressed administration priorities rapidly, though it lacked specificity that laws would provide.
Why we need laws to be specific
Q: In using a phrase like illegal DEI, is the suggestion that any or all DEI efforts might be both illegal and subject to punitive action by the federal government?
Yes, without a clear definition, it could create uncertainty regarding compliance and lead to penalties.
Why we need laws to be specific
Q: What reason did the Trump administration give for pulling that funding?
They cut grants that referenced issues on DEI and transgender policy, canceling thousands in a short time.
The man (or woman) behind the curtain of A.I.
Q: Is it typical for these workers, they're employed by the contracted firm, do they often get benefits like PTO and health insurance?
Most contracted workers lack benefits such as PTO and health insurance, as these are typically reserved for full-time employees.
The man (or woman) behind the curtain of A.I.
Q: What happens if an evaluator, a rater of this material receives a complex question, a response that the AI has given to an astrophysics question?
They are required to rate the response, even if it is beyond their expertise, without the option to skip the question.
