Sam & Sierra may not be therapists, but they will tell it to you straight (even if they aren’t). Each episode, they answer listeners’ questions with compassion, radical honesty, and all the relationship advice you don’t want—but definitely need. And no, it’s not always “just break up.” (Unless you really should!)

Although they aren't licensed professionals, they honestly could be though that would change the layout of the podcast. This one feels more like you asking your best friend for encouragement and advice on your toughest situations rather than talking to your therapist and I find that to be super helpful to intertwine this podcast with other therapy podcasts I listen to. Absolutely love it and wish I knew Sierra and Sam in real life!
I think the hosts are well intentioned but I can feel them holding back on giving their real opinions in order to remain “positive” but it’s just giving toxic positivity rather than hard truths that some people need.
One episode is my was clear the boyfriend was out of bounds and being inappropriate but the hosts told the writer that she either needs to manage her emotions and jealousy or it wouldn’t work out? Even though the guy was clearly doing shady things. It felt like they wanted to tell... more
Update: Be careful of adhd meds. They are prescription meth. Of course your mood is better on meth. In some cases, they cause literal psychosis. Some prescription drugs have a stigma for a reason and these meds are one of them.
These two are such an important voice with nuanced, vulnerable and insightful advice.
Could only stomach it minutes of this poorly executed disaster. Do your homework first.
This is my new favorite podcast and makes me feel like I’m hanging out with caring friends. Love these two & their advice!

Two queer-friendly relationship coaches answer listener letters with warmth, honesty, and practical boundary work. Topics span breakups, boundaries, consent, vulnerability, and navigating love in non-traditional relationships, all delivered with compassionate humor and no-judgment guidance. The show frequently blends personal stories, real-world scenarios, and actionable steps, often emphasizing self-worth, communication, and healthier dynamics over drama. A standout element is the hosts' balance of care and candor, making tough topics approachable for listeners seeking relationship clarity and emotional resilience.
