  • I usually don't listen to the intro episodes of podcasts. They're often fluff. I happened to download this one and enjoyed all 7 minutes. Jesse does a great job articulating the focus of the podcast and his approach. Better, he acknowledges some quirks and indulges in one (which made me laugh out loud). I love that he is studied in behavioural economics and brings that to bear for climbing. I've gone ahead and downloaded the AMA episodes and look forward to catching up.

  • Fresh direction for a climbing podcast

Wasn’t sure Jesse could bring something new to the table with so many climbing podcasts out, but I was so wrong. I love his attempt to bring subject matter experts that are also climbers on to discuss what we definitively know and don’t know about what research is telling us, and at the same time brings a pragmatic perspective about what people should be taking away. Just thoughtful discussion that never loses itself in the weeds. Keep it up!

  • High quality climbing content

A welcome addition and compliment to the other climbing pods out there, Jesse cuts through the noise (and gloss), and delivers content that’s endearingly unpolished in production, yet very honed in product. Add this one to your lineup, it’s sure to provide many hours of insights and inspo.
