Aidan Roberts and Sam Prior host this climbing-themed podcast that kind of goes where it goes. Lots of tangents and rambles as well as hopefully thought provoking questions. Sometimes it's very focussed on climbing, sometimes climbing barely comes up. The guests tend to be elite level climbers, but we often willingly get lost in the weeds and end up wildly off-topic. If you're enjoying our podcast... more

Ah the episode description section. Every week I dread filling it out because it feels so superfluous to requirement but here we go again... Joining us this week is Charlie Schreiber (as you can see from the episode title), we talk about coaching, go... more
Joining us this week are the cohosts of a rival British Podcast, Backseat Climbing. Originally they came to fame when they humorously slandered half of climbing on a subsequently deleted pod, but they meant well and a lot of water has disappeared un... more
Ben is back! Ben is very close to launching his new innovation, the Moonboard Spray. He even paid me to set it, but then he crumpled up my offering and launched into the bin and did it again with a completely different team. Why? What is it? Can I ha... more
Jen Wood comes to join us on the pod this week! Someone who used to compete on the World Cup boulder circuit with Aidan but they went in totally opposite directions at the end (not because of any personal beef I hasten to add) Jen has transformed her... more

I listen to every single episode without a doubt. Love both Aidan and Sam
I’m not even sure why I enjoy this podcast so much since they spend so much time talking with great specificity about boulders I’ll never try. But both hosts are great guys and it’s a treat to get to hang out with them via podcast. We’re all lucky that Sam is so great at chatting and running a podcast because his resume in the climbing world is quite astounding. And including Aidan as a host is also great fortune. He strikes me as a fairly elusive figure in the world of climbing, constantly lurk... more
IS WRONG
The great thing about this podcast is that both the hosts are great. Aidan is great at climbing and Sam is great at podcasting. Together they make a truly enjoyable listening experience. If I’m having a tough day, their friendly banter and careless chatting is just the thing to brighten my mood. Cheers, boys.
I’ve been meaning to write a review for this show for ages. I enjoyed the latest episode with Katy just too much to not write a review. The climbing auction was such a fun idea, keep thinking outside the box on these bonus segments. This show is the only climbing pod I listen to these days, it’s nothing but good banter, no ego, and interesting convos.

A casual, climbing-focused show that often travels into broader conversations about culture, media, and the psychology of pursuing hard ascents. Hosts chase thoughtful questions around motivation, sponsorship, and the evolving identity of climbing, frequently inviting elite climbers to share personal journeys, training approaches, and reflections on how the sport is portrayed. Noteworthy is the balance between earnest, gear- and ethics-informed discussion and freewheeling banter, with regular roundtables and off-topic tangents that still land on meaningful insights for climbers, sponsors, and media partners alike.
