Aidan Roberts and Sam Prior host this climbing-themed podcast that kind of goes where it goes. Lots of tangents and rambles as well as hopefully thought provoking questions. Sometimes it's very focussed on climbing, sometimes climbing barely comes up. The guests tend to be elite level climbers, but we often willingly get lost in the weeds and end up wildly off-topic. If you're enjoying our podcast... more

Long overdue, but we managed to get Tristan on the podcast. We've wanted him to come on for a long time. Tristan is a really strong climber from the south east who also has a witty and dry sense of humour which we really appreciate. Known for his hot... more
Yannick did it! I've been saying for a while we need to see some 9As get downgraded (and potentially some 8Cs/8C+s upgraded) and Yannick has helped to get the ball rolling. He's always fun to talk to, you never feel far away from a clipable comment o... more
It's our 200th episode! To celebrate we're doing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary! Just Aidan and I this week, chatting about Squamish, media we've watched, some stats from the pod and we play a silly game where we have to draft 9A boulderers f... more

I listen to every single episode without a doubt. Love both Aidan and Sam
I’m not even sure why I enjoy this podcast so much since they spend so much time talking with great specificity about boulders I’ll never try. But both hosts are great guys and it’s a treat to get to hang out with them via podcast. We’re all lucky that Sam is so great at chatting and running a podcast because his resume in the climbing world is quite astounding. And including Aidan as a host is also great fortune. He strikes me as a fairly elusive figure in the world of climbing, constantly lurk... more
IS WRONG
The great thing about this podcast is that both the hosts are great. Aidan is great at climbing and Sam is great at podcasting. Together they make a truly enjoyable listening experience. If I’m having a tough day, their friendly banter and careless chatting is just the thing to brighten my mood. Cheers, boys.
I’ve been meaning to write a review for this show for ages. I enjoyed the latest episode with Katy just too much to not write a review. The climbing auction was such a fun idea, keep thinking outside the box on these bonus segments. This show is the only climbing pod I listen to these days, it’s nothing but good banter, no ego, and interesting convos.

This show features two British climbers who mix banter, personal updates, and deep dives into climbing culture with long-form conversations. Episodes routinely cover elite sport climbing, training mindset, injuries, ethics, and the evolving ecosystem around sponsorship, brands, and media in climbing, interspersed with off-topic chat that broadens into lifestyle and current events. Listeners can expect candid discussions, thoughtful takes on controversy, and a penchant for exploring what it means to be a pro climber in today's scene, with a focus on process, community, and authentic storytelling. A standout trait is the balance between technical climbing talk and relaxed, humorous banter that invites a broad audience, from hardcore climbers ... more
