My wife and I have been listening to these as we go to bed each night. The stories the women share are so real, so raw, and so beautiful. Maybe the best content on the entire internet right now.
Full disclosure: I’ve been on two episodes of this podcast. Regardless, I have listened to every single one and have come away a better, more empathetic person for it. Mary has a way of reaching to the heart of a person, to helping them feel heard and for them to feel safe to share their stories. We need more listening in this world, which leads to better understanding. That’s what this podcast does! Every person you know has a deep well of life; have you tried to know it?
A super interesting podcast. I guarantee if you press play, you’ll find yourself listening all the way through. If you’re going through some thing, this is a great way to hear how other people overcame things period. If you have gone through some thing, you might learn from other people ways to cope with that that you haven’t thought of before. If you haven’t gone through anything, count yourself among the few and the lucky and listen anyways cause it’s super interesting.
This is an incredibly moving and uplifting podcast. Interviews with real people in the community with the real stories that shaped who they are today. It’s raw and emotional and so relatable. Can’t wait for more episodes!
I love this podcast! One of my friends recommended this podcast to me yesterday. Mary has such courage and openness in talking about her path through trauma. I was really touched by her strength and honesty. Cant wait to see who she interviews next! A.N. Geneva, IL
