  • Time to take a Risk

I’ve listened to the sermon time to take a risk many times over, and following the word of God presented in it has completely changed my life and taken me out of the rut I was in, and propelled me to new heights where I am now able to serve others more, be happier with myself, and pursue the kingdom in more vibrant ways than ever

  • Prosperity Doctrine Dressed Up as Methodism

I just listened to the sermon “Time to Take a Risk,” from Sept. 12, 2021, and it was nothing more than prosperity doctrine. I really hope those interested in Methodism listen to other sermons from other pastors.

  • Excellent!

So nice to have these all in one easily accessible space. Any chance to get older sermons/series added? A sermon from April of 2016 called Hello Hurricane: Eye of the Storm was the catalyst for change in the direction of my life.

This program centers on traditional Christian worship and practical faith formation led by a senior minister and a pastor. Across recent episodes, themes include grace, restoration after failure, communal belonging, rest and quiet trust in God, rejoicing in all circumstances, and living surrendered to God's presence. Sermons frequently weave personal stories, scriptural exegesis, and cultural references to illuminate everyday faith, ritual, and city-life impact. A notable strength is the blend of pastoral guidance with accessible theology, using familiar biblical narratives to encourage concrete spiritual practices like gratitude, prayer, and acts of service for listeners who are navigating work, family, and community life.
