I grew up going to HPUMC and have always found value in Paul’s sermons. I moved to another church about 10 years ago, but will always listen to Paul. He has a way of connecting the Bible to everyday life that speaks to everyone. I am thankful that I can continue to listen in person and from a distance.
I listen to the sermons weekly and have been for quite some time. I much prefer this to the atmosphere of going into a church. It is not that I feel negatively toward the church at all, I have moved to a new state a few years ago and I have social anxiety that causes me to not do as much as I would like including going into a new church. I love that I get the feel that I am sitting in a Sunday service but I do not have to worry or stress and can still hear God’s word. Thank you all for this!!
The Cornerstone Comtemporary Service has potential to be a great service, but it’s run by liberal snowflakes that cause it to be a very liberal service. Note that Matt Tuggle is the exception and is fantastic, very fair and balanced and you can’t tell whether he’s a liberal or conservative (which is the way it should be). This has become one of my favorite podcasts. I stumbled onto it. Now I look forward to it every week. Although I live in New Jersey, I feel a connection to the Highland Park UMC community. Keep it up!
