Naturally squeamish and I've always hated history, but I love this podcast. I learn new stuff and the horrible and serious aspects from history are made easier to swallow with the cohosts' use of humor (which breaks up tension but doesn't make fun of disenfranchised populations). I love that they go out of their way to present context to their content with more perspectives than what may be focused on in US history classes; they have balance and leave it up to the listener to make their own conc... more

This podcast has good potential. Great research and both hosts have pleasant speaking voices however they both need to stop the constant fake chuckles. It comes off as a nervous habit and is completely distracting for the listener. That one change would make this podcast 100% better.
