An informative and funny look at a wide variety of historical subjects with no punches pulled for how much things sucked in the past and how that suckage continues to plague us to this day.
Much healthier than History High Fructose Corn Syrups
Very good, very wholesome, very funny.
I listened to the show about the Keys then couldn’t find it again... after 20 minutes searching I found y’all again! I love your bantering!
With such a wide range of topics and delightful hosts, there’s no reason not to give it a listen
One person recounts interesting detailed history, the other person interrupts in between every sentence with a startling “Yes!” over and over and over again, and then occasionally interjects a non-sequitur. Bizarre. Couldn’t get past 10 minutes.
An amazing history podcast full of so much information I didn’t know I was interested in until now.
I love how History Honeys covers diverse set of topics that I would not personally think about! Riot Grrl, Office Supplies, or the Wingfoot Air Disaster are all topics I greatly enjoyed but are definitely outside the things I normally google.
Very good etc etc etc
For a 19 year old girl who happens to be a history nerd... I’m obsessed. I hope I can find a husband who will nerd out with me and make a podcast. They are so fun and cute.
This is the podcast equivalent of spending the evening in a cozy blanket, having a cup of hot chocolate, and chatting with some old friends. Grant and Alaina are funny, adorable, and they have a delightfully broad and eclectic taste in historical topics.
I have heard a few great husband/wife teams and many that sound forced. These two not only don't come across as forced but their subject matter in the first several episodes is wonderfully quaint and different than most. They also have a great dichotomy. At first, I really thought Alaina was going to be the Gracie in most of this show which would end up irritating me but not only do they get more comfortable as the show goes on I was enticed into listening to their other podcast and finding out ... more

Grant and Elena are adorable, have lovely chemistry and make a subject I already love - history - even more interesting.
I wish Grant and Alaina would teach me everything I ever needed to know.
