HHT leaves me smiling from ear-to-ear every time I listen. Matt and Tim have an incredible connection that brings such joy and fun to the podcast. It’s a breath of fresh air…you can see their hustle and commitment in every single episode. What a treat for horror fans to straddle movie reviews with interviews of both modern artists and people from 80s slashers. I can’t recommend listening to HHT enough!!!
I really want to like this podcast more but the hosts continuously talk over each other and finish each other’s sentences and it’s all just a bit frustrating. I like how enthusiastic both hosts are about the subject matter, but it would make for easier, less manic listening if they were just a bit more restrained in terms of letting each other finish their thoughts.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while and I LOVE it. As a huge horror fan, I’m always having fun with Matt and Tim while listening. Some of the references they come up with blow my mind. True experts in the field. Keep bringing the goodness!!!
Like the show. Wish Tim would stop interrupting constantly. Matt is the true star here.
ANOTHER horror movie podcast in which the hosts simply relate the entire plot of the main film being discussed. Is there any end to these? I don’t think so. The hosts are fun, but the approach to “reviewing” each movie is generally disappointing.

Two horror-obsessed hosts bring energetic energy, deep knowledge, and playful banter to conversations about new releases and classic favorites. Across recent episodes, they mix spoiler-filled reviews with interviews from actors, directors, and behind-the-scenes insiders, offering fan-centric analysis, industry anecdotes, and lively debate on themes, performance, and franchise lore. The show often dives into 80s horror influence, meta-textual storytelling, and the human side of filmmaking, while keeping a fun, unpolished vibe that appeals to hardcore fans and casual listeners alike. A standout aspect is the steady stream of high-profile horror guests that provide inside perspectives and behind-the-scenes stories, complemented by enthusiastic... more
