I guess this is a good podcast for people who like talentless jerks.
This podcast is about Ryan’s opinions, not the Scream franchise. The long Taylor Swift segments, which couldn’t be more unrelated to Scream, prove this. I was looking for fun and informative Scream content ahead of 7’s release and found this. I was shocked by the vitriol showed toward Scream 6 filmmakers and people who like it, and the long winded opinions given rather than fun and informative content related to Scream. I wanted a fun listen and instead heard unproductive and divisive rhetoric. ... more
Whiny. Annoying. Hypocritical. Pretentious. Smug. Dishes it but can’t take it. Claims to be subjective and unbiased but is extremely biased and isn’t subtle about it at all. Someone says something he doesn’t like or agree with “wow that’s great 😐…anyways ” Calls people basic if they like Billy or Stu, or scream 6, but it’s like…ur favorite movies are scream and ur favorite singer is Taylor swift??? Just another white pick me gay who thinks he’s special and unique when he’s anything but. Hates “... more
As someone who has been an on and off listener for years, I felt the need to write a review after checking back in with the podcast and seeing all the negative one star reviews. People need to realize that their feelings aren’t fact and just cause you don’t like someone or their opinions on a podcast. Doesn’t mean you can give fake reviews.

The show delivers deep-dive analysis of the Scream franchise, balancing rigorous film critique with passionate fan discourse. Episodes frequently explore character motivation, meta-commentary on fandom, and evolving franchise direction, including discussions around Scream 7, legacy characters, and cross-media themes like pop culture parallels and AI-driven storytelling. A standout pattern is its willingness to tackle controversial topics (e.g., cast changes, interviews, and franchise marketing) while maintaining a focus on craft, storytelling, and cultural impact, often weaving in listener-driven segments (such as Song of the Week) and Patreon-driven formats. This combination of rigorous analysis, fan-centric engagement, and timely franchis... more
