There’s nothing critical or insightful about Ryan’s podcast. On top of that he is deeply toxic and pretentious, but hides from all criticism with squeals of ‘let people like what they like’. Yes, let’s do that. Except it needs to go both ways, and Ryan, unfortunately, is about as gatekeepy and rude as toxic fandom gets. I don’t think anyone could do a better Scream show than how Ryan does it. It’s thorough, in depth, creative, and very smart. Ryan never wavers from being honest with his audience.
Each year only gets better and better.
