  • One of the best in her field

I have had the pleasure to both listen to the very informative episodes and just recently I was a guess. It is very clear that Elizabeth does extensive research prior to interviewing her guess. That made for a very enjoyable experience as both a listener and guess.

I particularly liked her inspirational jar and the questions she asked from her own book on the topic. I will continue to listen since I am sure she will have more valuable information for her listeners.

She emphasizes the ongoing, dynamic nature of caregiving and the importance of building a team around the child, including therapists, school staff, and family, and the need to advocate for both the child and the caregivers themselves.

Living with Uncertainty with Marisa Renee Lee
Q: How did you balance demanding work with caregiving in your life?
I reassessed my priorities, negotiated accommodations at work, and built a system where self-care was scheduled and protected, proving you can be a strong professional and a devoted caregiver at the same time.
