I hate reality tv dating shows. They drive me crazy. So the last thing I expected was to enjoy a reality dating podcast, but I really did. Is an interesting twist, and so nice that it’s not heteronormative. It’s so easy to listen to and definitely binge worthy!
I adore this show. There are so many twists and turns and laughs and tender moments. I’m so glad it exists and that I got to listen. HIGHLY recommend.
Charly is the worst and I am only on ep.2
as a person obsessed with reality dating shows, this was such a breath of fresh air! So funny and fun and kept me coming back for more. Can’t wait for season two 👀
I loved the host and the overall concept/idea of a phone call dating show. I’m shocked they picked someone so pretentious and shallow-minded as the star - I could not root for “Maxine” or tolerate her intense vocal fry/inflection. I wish the star (and some of the contestants) had more depth of character. I really liked the hosts’ style though; she is iconic.
