I’d recommend going back to some of the earlier episodes - some genuinely helpful hints to create successful music. Recent editions seem to be more focused on allowing the speaker to work through some personal problems.

I write love songs and I was debating, against my better judgement, if I should not make them more poppy. You explanation about how soft music effects the listeners helps a lot.
