  • Not very knowledgeable

I listen to a couple of investing podcasts, and these guys aren’t as knowledgeable.

  • Privileged Rambling Disguised as Money Advice

I really wanted to enjoy this podcast, but it’s becoming impossible to get past how often Tash talks about her privileged lifestyle and how much money she makes. It’s tone-deaf, repetitive, and honestly a bit nauseating. Instead of offering relatable, grounded advice, it often comes across as bragging disguised as financial guidance. Not the “get rich slow” energy I was hoping for.

  • Speaking to quickly

Podcast sounds like the speech has been sped up. Not to be rude but they sr talking so fast and it sounds so sped up that they sound like chipmunks.

  • Running out of ideas now

The unhinged money hacks episode was a real low. Taking toilet paper from work? Scanning the barcode of a cheaper product? Hello, this is what you call stealing. Sure, you might not condone this so why even discuss?

Tash speaks so fast in this episode I thought I had sped it up to 2x.

  • Pump up the vibe!!!

I’m really loving the addition of Brooke, she brings so much more energy and fun compared to Anna. Anna just feels too stiff and proper, which comes off kind of boring. The vibe and banter between Tash and Brooke is way more natural and entertaining.

And yes too many ads. Sometimes impossible to listen.

258. 36% of Australians are making this super mistake
Q: How long does the death benefit claim process take in simple versus complex cases?
Simple cases with a binding nomination can take around three months if documents are in order; complex cases with multiple claimants and relationships can extend to a year or more.
258. 36% of Australians are making this super mistake
Q: What happens if there is no nomination or if relationships change over time?
Without a valid nomination, the fund will assess based on dependents, guardians, or the estate, and disputes can arise, potentially leading to disputes reviewed by internal processes or AFCA; timely updates are crucial.
258. 36% of Australians are making this super mistake
Q: Kate, can you actually do that? (binding death nomination)
A binding death nomination is binding on the fund if it's a valid nomination and the nominated person is a valid dependent; otherwise it may be invalid, requiring renewal or adjustment to align with relationships and dependents.
256. Do I need a prenup?
Q: Can you explain the purpose of a Binding Financial Agreement and how you approached it with your partner?
We discussed it early on, both sides used separate lawyers, disclosed all assets and liabilities, and the process was slow and collaborative, ensuring both partners understood what they were agreeing to and that nothing was rushed.
243. The real cost of not knowing money
Q: How does that work for those going through bankruptcy?
They can start from scratch again with willingness and by utilizing tools such as AI for financial queries.
