Gender dysphoria has become a minefield for public discussion, with many afraid to express their views or question the narrative. Our mission is to examine this important and complex topic from a range of perspectives, but always through a psychological lens. By openly considering and examining gender identity, transition, and the transgender umbrella, we hope to give all interested parties permission to engage these fascinating topics with less fear and more honesty. Interviews and discussions will involve clinicians, medical professionals, academics, transgender people, parents, detransitioners and other interesting individuals whose lives have been touched by the concept of gender. Conversations between two practicing therapists give listeners an opportunity to contemplate gender from a depth perspective not currently taken up in most of today’s accessible debates. As a result of their work with gender dysphoric therapy clients as well as their personal divergent experiences with ge... more

  • I have this podcast a chance as I am always looking for new perspectives about issues I might face as an educator. As someone who is not an expert, I listened to a few episodes and came away feeling not great about what I was hearing but still willing to challenge my beliefs. Until today when they released an episode with Katie Herzog, known transphobe and podcast partner of the repugnant Jesse Singal. Do not be fooled, this is not a podcast honestly exploring issues, it is transphobic nonsense

Thank you for helping me develop the conceptual framework around trans issues and the difference between trans people and trans ideology. I now feel better equipped to have deep thoughtful conversations.

  • Great for lay people!

I was introduced to this podcast via the interview with Helen Joyce (absolutely brilliant woman!!!). I’m a lay person interested in the trans epidemic as I call it. I came to this area via interest in the satanic panic, believe the children, repressed memories movement etc. This trans epidemic is so similar to those previous hysterias I cannot believe more people can’t see it. Anyway, this podcast is very explanatory and easy for the general audience without a psych or gender studies degree to c... more
