Okay so, I guess when I originally uploaded this, there was no music track. 114 people downloaded it before I caught the error, this is why you listen to every mp3 you post kids. ANYWAY! Here's the whole kit and kaboodle! Enjoy!
I mean, it's still Monday in Arizona so you can hardly say it's not a Monday release! A quick episode this week walking you through Raven, a horror RPG i bought on a whim and my first session with Twilight 2000. Thanks for listening!
We're back! This episode was recorded an entire month ago and here it is!

Great podcast for thoughtful takes into the current RPG community. RBK and the Full Metal crew bring a lot of heart and passion into sharing fun, relevant, and diverse topics. Check them out for insights into noir, grimdark, OSR, and cutting edge game play.
RBK provides a great insight and unique voice about our beloved hobby.
I really like listening to this podcast. Lots of different formats. I like the ones where they dive into a specific game or idea the most. Rich (the current host) is a relatable and straightforward dude who is very likable and easy to listen to. I find out about or am encouraged to do more with the hobby of rpgs every time I listen.
Used to listen to every episode up until a couple years ago when every episode had to include their political views which have nothing to do with gaming and haven’t listened since. About to give them another shot and see if they’ve stopped, hoping to once again become a supporter.
The FMRPG show and crew keep this old grognard happy. They utilize a contemporary lens to examine many of idiosyncrasies of my oldest hobby.
Keep up the good work.
I love everything about this podcast: the political aspect, the topics, the knowledge, the guests and most importantly... the black hooOole !
Thanks for being who you are FMRpg, I enjoy every single episode and don’t feel alone anymore in my opinions and expectations within this passion we share. You are the friends i always dreamed of. Take care and long live your podcast !
Socially conscious RPG podcast that never fails to make me think more about the games I currently play or have yet to play.
FMRPG is top tier podcasting. No lazy filler episodes. Every episode is thoughtful and absorbing - it’s like sitting in on a really substantive conversation with friends. Highly recommend. Great discord community!
There are dozens and dozens of RPG podcasts out there that will give you “Five simple GM-ing tips” each week. FMRPG isn’t one of those podcasts. If you are interested in stepping back and considering bigger picture ideas like how society shapes the games we play and how the games we play reflect that society back to us then you will find lots of thoughtful discussion here. It isn’t all heavy philosophical and critical discussion though. The hosts keep it light and enjoy talking about their favor... more
If thoughtful commentary on RPG systems is too much for you, crawl back into your troglodyte cave and find a different podcast that your limited brain can handle--this one isn't for you. This one is great, with hosts who aren't afraid to touch on subjects that need to be talked about, whether about the systems or the community.
If you want an utterly miserable take on RPGs this is it. The episode on western RPGs was especially bad. If you need confirmation that the leftists are screwing with RPGs it’s here. A podcast viewing RPGs through the Critical Race Theory lens. These weirdos need to lighten up.
Listening to Full Metal RPG feels like hanging out with old friends. The hosts have great chemistry, and they talk with real knowledge and passion. They are also a welcome voice of inclusiveness within the RPG sphere, and I admire their focus on bringing new people of all types into the hobby.
My group has been running a Pathfinder campaign for many years, and over those years we’ve had to use increasingly elaborate house rules to be able to tell the stories that we wanted to tell. This podcas... more
Funny, irreverent, and blunt, all the hallmarks of gamers who truly love the practice of table top role playing. Each episode Is full of funny moments and great reviews. They have cool t-shirts, too!
The only horror RPG that I’ve ever played is Call of Cthulhu. This podcast has really expanded my horizons. In particular, the interviews with the designers of Kult were amazing and convinced me that I had to give the game a chance. Engaging hosts with a real love and deep knowledge of the genre. Highly recommended!
Not afraid to talk about problems in the community either, which is refreshing. Also great, honest game reviews.
