Friends Like Us is a warm hearted, funny, upbeat listen. Marine Franklin is the host. She gets wonderful, inspiring people, mostly from the entertainment and arts community to interview and discuss the topics of the day. There is also relevant discussions of culture pertaining to NYC, the comedy of big cities and NYC specifically. It is pleasant to hear a discussion that raises awareness and well-being.
I adore Marina Franklin as a stand-up comedian. I re-watch Marina Franklin’s amazing stand-up comedy special “Single Black Female” often!!! Comedians like her are superheroes to me because they literally make life better.
